What is Gynecomastia?
More and more plastic surgeons in Chicago are starting to offer services for a condition called gynecomastia, which means “woman breast”. This is a condition in which a boy or man has overdeveloped breasts that resemble a woman’s. It can be caused by hormonal changes, genetics, weight gain, or certain drugs. While generally harmless, gynecomastia can be upsetting for a boy or man to live with.
Dr. Pryor proudly offers gynecomastia surgery for men who find themselves dealing with this condition. There are several different techniques that may be used. Our surgeon will choose a technique depending on the size and composition of the patient’s breasts.
